Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are not permitted on eCommos.ai. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

1. Compliance with Shopify

You must not use the Service to:

  • Generate apps that violate the Shopify App Store rules or Shopify's Partner Program Agreement
  • Circumvent Shopify's API rate limits, scopes, or authentication mechanisms
  • Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with Shopify

2. Compliance with law

You must not use the Service to:

  • Process personal data in violation of applicable data protection law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Conduct activities that are illegal in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdictions of your shop's customers
  • Sell goods or services prohibited by Shopify's acceptable use policies

3. Security + abuse

You must not:

  • Attempt to access another merchant's data, account, or generated apps
  • Probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities outside of an authorized program
  • Use generated apps to send spam, malware, phishing content, or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Use generated apps to circumvent Shopify's checkout, payment, or fraud-detection systems
  • Mine cryptocurrency, run unrelated workloads, or otherwise abuse the runtime sandbox

4. AI generation

AI-generated content can be inaccurate or unfit for purpose. You are responsible for reviewing generated apps before deploying them to production and for ensuring they meet your business requirements.

You must not use the Service to:

  • Generate code intended to harm consumers (e.g., dark patterns, hidden subscriptions, deceptive pricing)
  • Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or harassing

5. Reporting violations

Report suspected violations to hoangch@firegroup.io. We investigate reports promptly and may take action including suspension or termination.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. We may notify Shopify of violations affecting Shopify infrastructure.
